Top right of the inside of the glovebox, next to the manual slot - which you should really read more closely. Has the same symbol as the warning light, with SET printed below. On the MKV, the button used to be behind the shifter.

Question about the TPMS and new wheels (+ tyres)...

How will this be affected? Will it be inactive? Will you get a constant alarm etc unless you disable the TPMS with Vagcom?

It'll be fine. Just like after you've checked your tyre pressures at the gas station, you just press that little button hidden away in your glove box (in the MKV and my Polo you would hold it for a few seconds, the car will give a notification tone and flash a light), and then you drive away. It is now recalibrated.

    Thanks Corey.

Wasn't sure how the whole system works.

A couple of weeks ago as I was almost stopped at the top of the freeway off-ramp there was a warning 'bong', and I though "WTF's that?" I scanned the dashboard and I noticed a little snowflake had appeared with 3.5°C next to it. OK so you frightened the living daylights out of me to let me know it was cold outside. Thank you very much.

Lol... well, that little warning 'bong' and snowflake could one day save your life! It's meant to let you know that there could be 'black ice' on the road, so beware!

Bet she was impressed, particularly when you set off a warning light.
