    I had that before, I think you will need to change it from Full load to Partial load. I could be wrong though.

    Not that this is your problem, but I looked like the biggest idiot the other day, light came on, decided to reset it, jammed hand in glovebox and pressed button, wasn't going off, tried again, still nothing, had a look, I was pressing the thing next to the button, LOL.

    Missus was proud of her mechanic boyfriend that day

    Alright guys

    Yeah tried all of the above (apart from pressing the wrong button!) and still no joy

    I'm due my 30k service this month so will get the guys at Volksmuller to have a look

    I guess this could be a faulty sensor... See how you go with the service guys... Good luck

    Had to do this the other day after I had tyres rotated. Turn ignition to on position(motor not running) and hold button in glove box till the warning sound has sounded. Job done.

    Still no luck resetting the light. Tried doing it with the key turned but no engine running, held it down for ages, nothing

    Ok so i had the 30,000km service done earlier today at Volksmuller and mentioned the Tyre Pressure Warning Light (which is still on). When we got it on the hoist they noticed that one of the rear tyres had slightly more tread which would be down to me getting a flat tyre about 6 months ago and only replacing that tyre.

    So we thought that would explain the issue. Anyway the lads did a VAS scan just to double check and low and behold, it came up with an error message: 01325 004 Tire pressure Monitoring Control Module - J502 - No Signal/Communication

    After seeing this, and the fact that the warning light cannot be reset at all (the warning light won’t turn off at all, no matter how long you hold down the reset button in the glove box), they didn't think it was down to the rear tyre having more tread. They said the code was strange because the Mk6 Golf R that i have doesn't have a control module and they advised me to take it into the dealer as it may be an issue with the ABS.

    I did notice an earlier message from RW1 in this thread which mentioned a 1325 fault code on the ABS controller (see below).


    "Sometimes you need to do "Basic Setting" on the TPMS and thats why the dealer wants the Golf in the dealership. Its because the ESP unit needs steering angle and tyre info. Until it has the data, it will through a TPMS warning. Alternatively, the Steering Controller comms is intermittant to ESP and may need changing. There may be faults in the 03- ABS controller like 1325, 2757 or 3159.

    If you have VCDS, Basic Setting is done on Controller 03 - ABS Brakes. Performed by using measuring block 042 set to Basic Settings and then exit. Do B.S. first and then clear the faults (not the faults first). Faults should change to permanent to sporadic following B.S. and then they can be cleared. That may clear the random warnings unless the steering angle sender from Steering Controller 16 is faulty."

    If anyone can shed a bit more light on this error code and what my issue is that would be great....really hope something hasn't screwed up. pretty sure it's still under warranty but i haven't had the best of luck with VW dealerships in the past!
