    yeah, as someone said, old haldex/AWD systems can be brutal.... also, why don't you just chip your GTI ? get a bit more punch out of it for not too much $$$

    I too toyed with the idea of an R32. Like everyone the big draw is the sound of the exhaust! Ooh haven't heard anything so sexy since.

    Drawbacks are dated interior. It is a step backward from mk6. The car would be very thirsty and supposedly the older Haldex was too slow to react in shuffling torque rearwards.

    Since I can't see myself realistically buying one, particularly at those unrealistic prices, I couldn't tell someone to do any different to what I decided.
