    It's obviously a test bed for the Mk 7 Jetta's rear-steer system. I'd say they've nailed it.

(Ryan_R where did you stumble across it? this is too good to pass up)

Searched Google for part of the file name and found this (Brazilian forum, you'll need Google Translate):

I'm not sure why the front tyre is also ripped off the wheel...

I love google translate.... comment #4: "It seems that tore up slu.tty!"

As for the front tyre, it seems the car was actually heading in the opposite direction when the rear axle forced the car into a sharp left spin, loading the whole weight of the car onto the front right tyre and also the front bumper. You can see the skid and scratch marks in the 7th photo on that thread

Hi Guys, It was bound to happen sooner or later but luckily it took 17 months which reduces the pain somewhat. Noticed a little bit of kerb rash on the front spoiler just under the foglight. I didn't even notice when it happened so a light scrape about 6 inches long. It is barely noticable but it is to me... Problem is the car is deep pearl black so looks like a powder trace. Anyone got any tips on reducing the visual or do we just get used to these minor blemishes? Cheers

Damn, that looks nasty, sorry to hear. Hopefully it's nothing too serious mechanically.

5 months in... random projectile hit the door. I think it was a passing car type pinching a rock that smacked my car... it's these little ones that hurt... stands out like a sore thumb. How would i go about repairing?!!

Talk to some paintless dent removal people... Probably plenty in the forum who can recommend good ones
