What's a set of new airbags cost in one of those?
There would also be the large brown stains needing removal from the front seats.
Thats where cloth seats would be at a disadvantage

Thought I would spoil myself a little today and grab a coffee while I got my car washed at Rose Bay Crystal car wash. I usually wash it myself but it had been a while and she was a bit grubby. I drove home and got out to shammy off inside the door jams and noticed 2 obvious chips on my drivers side door, smack bang in the middle of the door, the white undercoat on RB makes them stick out like the proverbial dogs gonads! I rang them up and complained not only about the bits they failed to clean but the chips that I was sure were not there before..I had wiped off a present a bird left on that door in the morning and it was not there. They said they would call back but after a couple of hours I drove back to show them..they remembered my car but they they could not possibly have done it due to there "rubber hoses" and offered me a free delux car wash....ahhh how nice!!! No thank you.!!!.. NEVER WILL I TAKE MY CAR TO A CAR WASH AGAIN!!!
I have the touch up paint but it appears I may be as anal as a few others on here and I am unsure how well it will hide it Interestingly the other scratch I have is on the passenger door that I am sure I only notice after my last visit to a car wash about 6 months ago mmmm funny that? Will wait a while but my eyes are drawn to it every time I walk by the car.
Has anyone as anal as myself had a great experience with a spray shop near Sydney's East?? I have had bad experiences with Scientfic and have learnt a messy workshop means sloppy work.
Empathies to all those with paint related woes.
Thanks.
With the big paragraph and business name in bold I was just about to report you as a spambot
Hope you get it all sorted
I hate to say this but if you really care about your car duco never ever take it to a car wash.. they reuse the water , the detergent will strip any product you may have put on, they reuse all the cloth towels to dry it and the people that work on your car are on minimum wage..
You get what you pay for and then disappointment..
I take the family bus to the car wash because the kids provide more impact than they ever could and it is a big car to wash so i don't care..

Same here, for the last year and a half since I received my car I have never ever ever let anyone wash my car besides myself.
No excuses , I live in an apartment, so I have to on a weekly basis find a friends place or quietly sneak into those DIY car wash with a bucket after 10pm.
So if you're really anal don't let anyone else wash it.

Above pictures are the damage done to my car by my neighbour.
I parked my car this morning after a bakery run and find these marks on my car...
Long story short, marking of my car and paint colour coincide with my neightbour’s car.
Knocked on their door and went back to garage (underground secure parking for residence only) and checked.
My neighbours who are elderly couple say that they didn’t know about it and I take that. It’s very miner and I have seen them driving and their car that used to be covered in all sort of damage.
They say that they are very sorry but do not want to go through with insurance. They just had multiple claims through their insurance to fix all the damages and some other accidents by the sound of it. (Due to my neighbours being elderly with hearing aids and English being not their preferred language)
Questions as below…
Should I get quotes for them from at least 2 repairers?
Or
Get quote from touch up guys? (It’s just a scratch… and car is one year old)
Or
Just ring my insurance… (They are my next door neighbour in an apartment and we have been nothing but good neighbours to each others)
I am very tempted to just call up ‘touchupguys’ and might be nice and easy for my neighbours and myself.
I am not sure of the work ‘touchupguys’ do. Never used them and never seen the work they done on another car.
Any advises on something that I am blind sighted about the incident?
Or does this ‘touchupguys’ or similar that are recommended or should stay away?
Car is at Bentleigh VIC.
