Had my car for about two weeks and I had just gotten my licence. On the last day of yr12, I decided it would be a good idea to attempt a massive burnout out of the school carpark onto the street. Unfortunately I forgot there was quite a large speed hump just down the road and went over it foot flat down (mustve been about 40-50kays), caught air and landed pretty hard on my front bumper, completly scraping off all the paint underneath... was not fun... well my passenger loved me catching air, as well as all the other school kids watching. Suprised the school never told me off for it

Quoted for proof that it is possible to get "good idea", "massive burnout", and "school carpark" in the same sentence.

well I had my baby for alsmot exactly one year, then the g/f took it for a spin, Some dude slamed her from the side rear and put the golf into a spin. End result was 7-8 car pile up with the front wheel ripping off (its next to the rear wheel in photo). I liked my BBS wheels too =(

No air bags deployed as no direct contact to front or rear. Its hard to see in the photo but the whole body was twisted and the driver seat was actully on an angle inwards.

ahh yes forgot to mention the most important part =P. Yes she was ok, bit of whiplash and mainly shock. The funny part was what happened after the crash, she had a cup of tea in the center console and also a bag of nuts in a container on the seat, and after the crash the tea and nuts went everywhere over the leather and when the guy ran over to see if she was ok she was crazly trying to clean it all up with a towel =P. Funny things we do when we are in shock. But yeah no one was injured out of all the cars which is great.

Not as bad as the story above... but warning to not answer your phone when driving... got slightly distracted and bang into a kerb. There goes my nice shiny front detroit. Now all I have is a scratched up mess of a rim.

Have you noticed as well that Robert Street is now sign-posted four hour parking? Don't get a parking infringment too, that'll really p*ss you off.
