Well done mate! May I ask, how did you go with the calibrating the green moving lines or is it the rvc without the movng lines?

Awesome work! Would love to have this installed in my Cabrio but i'm not very handy at all...

It's really quite straight forward if you want to try your hand yourself, if not your local audio installer would probably undertake the work for a (relatively) small sum since it's pretty much all plug and play and running cables and tapping power is what they do all day every day. While it's going to add to your costs, it shouldn't be too expensive and the end results are well worth the outlay.
I'm now wondering how hard it would be to get reversing sensors fitted, although I'm more concerned with how neat they would look. The camera is fantastic to back up to something but as someone who was always taught to look out the mirrors and window those little beeps can be damn handy when something sneaks up on the other side to which your looking. We have camera + sensors in the van and I love it, those extra prompts to keep you aware of your surrounds from multiple angles are just magical.

I've been struggling to find someone in Adelaide who would install the OPS sensors. Seems like no one is willing to touch them. It is a shame though as rear-end visibility on the cabrio is almost non-existent. Luckily enough I have yet to hit something behind and fingers crossed it stays that way.

I know you have said your having trouble, but have you tried an audio guy? It's essentially the same as putting in an amp in the boot except you also whip off the bootlid cover and unbolt the old badge too
If you were in Sydney I'd tell you to drop by and I'd lend a hand to get it in, sadly it's a bit of a hike

I have been wanting to install a RVC since I got my GTI 6 months ago. I got it ex-demo so didnt have the option of getting it installed at the factory. The main concern for me is getting the money for it and risking the install heh.
