Any mechanic or even backyard diyer would be able to do it in no time, not a hard job

Got a few specialists numbers ready to go for tomorrow, just hoping they're not too busy for the job.

So it's a Christmas miracle! My local stealership has become.... A dealership!!
They reckon they'll do the wheel, code it and get my buttons working for $160.

Sweet! Do you know if they needed to install a new module? Just for future reference for anyone with a 77TSI looking to do the same upgrade.

Yep you need the high line steering wheel module and you need to code the paddles of applicable.

Good to hear a dealership happy to install a non standard part (even if we all know it fits), often they don't want to have a bar of it.

Great to hear it's all in and working

Nice one, now you just have to get the aluminium pedals to match and maybe consider some paddle extensions

I've been looking at doing the same mod myself, so the $160 included the module as well? That's such a reasonable price.
