    Steering wheel buttons stuck

Anyone had their buttons fail? The left hand ones are rooted after 2 years, 25,000km.
At least I can still control the stereo from the touch screen but it's annoying!
First warranty claim here I come.

Going in next Thursday. Get a loner because it's a warranty job. Given I've ordered an S3, I wonder what they'll give me?
Probably a Mk 6 diesel knowing my luck.

I don't see why having ordered an Audi makes you entitled to a more expensive loaner. I'd be just happy your dealership is going the extra mile to give you one!

Besides, the cheap loaners are the best. Handbrakies and 2 accelerator positions, On and Off.

I like your style. I wasn't saying I was entitled to a better loaner. Just wondering if they would give me a mk 7 R to try to entice me back.

It's a moot point anyway. Whatever bit of dirt, or whatever my wife spilt on the button, is gone and it's working fine today. I don't think they have an R in stock either.

My volume down button became stuck a month ago, I was going to bring it to VW but it magically sorted itself out after a week...
    Weird.

VW looked at them and said they cleaned them. They were working fine for a day then didn't work for a week and now they work again. I'm assuming the mechanism is a bit worn.
