I received the roadside assist card and welcome pack before my car had been delivered by the dealer to me due to some hold ups.

After the first service received a nice cooler bag including full picnic set and a pair of dealer branded pajamas.

Very nice jesture on their behalf i thought.

I just got the welcome pack for our Van almost 12 months on... after chasing it up a few times...

That's the VW welcome pack, i never received one for the R so called VW up a month or so ago chasing it up, finally recieved it on Tuesday.

Lucky you. I emailed VW head office twice over a couple of months, and then called them and spoke to them about it, and still never got my Roadside assist card. I've since given up and should the need arise will simply call the number on the windshield and hope for the best.

That's the beasty. Chunky plastic/rubber key ring (fob). Over packaged or what.

I got a picurnic blanket and a keyring, but that was from the dealer.
