Speaker Size in the MK6

This might belong in mobile electronics but what I'm asking for is specific to the MK6 so I'll start it off here

What are the speaker sizes for the MK6 (assuming the R is the same as all others)? Also has anyone installed aftermarket speakers and run into any issues with depth?

I've got my eyes set on some Focal 165KR's to be specific

6.5". and the tweeters r std.
im running boston acoustics pro60se in the fronts. no issues

Walbjj is correct, 6.5 all round in our golfs. However I would recommend the use of some spaces to provide a more solid mount. Also use some sound deadening on the inside of the door and around the speaker to give it some more rigidity. Definitely worth the money if you are spending money on decent equipment.

thanks! I'm planning on dynamatting the whole door and mounting them on MFD spacers but just wanted to confirm the size and possible depth issues before I commit myself to buying anything
