Smile So long VW...thanks for all the fish

So the time has come for the Golf and I to part ways - I pickup a (new to me anyways) 2011 Porsche 911 C2S on Friday.

I've loved the Golf and its made changing cars really difficult - everything else I have driven felt slow by comparison.

Theres been a lot of negative press in the past few months about VW and reliability. To be honest the only issue I had in the three years of owning this Golf and five years of owning a Mark V was a dodgy door lock on the Mark V. The biggest issue I find VW suffers from is the dealer network and their crappy attitude to customers.

Anyways, loved the forum - I may be back sometime soon.

We may not be able choose our anthropological family, but we can certainly choose which member of the Volkswagen family we want to be associated with, if at all!

The Porsche clan gets a from me.
