Slight Flutter in Turbo Golf R

My s3 with a intake will flutter up to about 5 seconds some times when i change gear, i will have to take a video and post it up

You can also hear it if you change from D into N while rolling

Coz it does mad skids? I once accidentally put a VT Berlina into reverse while driving at 80km/h. The noises were horrible, you'd think it shouldn't happen but knowing holden, the feature that prevented it had probably already failed

On the topic of the whistles, I've noticed (probably post stage 1) from 3000 to just before 4000 there is a pronounced whistle, doesn't sound like normal turbo/induction noises, actually sounds like a referees whistle hehe.

Just wanted to clarify that I love the sound. Just needed confirmation it was normal as the car had been clinically silent upto today! My evo and wrx were both noisy and full of character so new sounds were nothing out of the ordinary... and I HATE rotaries! That blasted wanky sound drives me to distraction!

I'm no expert either but I'm sure it doesn't do the DSG any good when your rolling down a hill @ 80km then pop back into D again... but more to the point, why would you WANT to do it?

I've never understood the purpose of N in auto's???

LOL it was also me commenting about rolling in N before I used to do it when I was driving a conventional auto thinking that it would be more efficient as rolling in D would always slow the car down, guess I shouldn't do that anymore
