I dealt with Ashley at Medindie, and would definitely recommend him. Easy to deal with, and very helpful in addressing my questions before and after the contract was signed.

Thanks guys. I'm going to Medindie Solitaire tomorrow. Hopefully I can negotiate a good deal. I'd like to avoid traveling to Melbourne becase my wife will probably spend more on clothes and shoes than I would save on the car!

I went to see Michael at Medindie Solitaire yesterday. The test drive was good and it didn't take long to reach a deal I was happy with. Highly recommended.

People may not realise you're talking about SA dealers. I've merged your thread with this one.

To answer your question, the price you'll manage will depend on the salesperson you speak to, and your negotiation skills. Good deals can be had from either dealer.

I can't comment on the Duttons servicing; Solitaire have been fine for me thus far, but then others' experiences do vary quite a bit.
