no probs Coreying S2TP use it on their site too

its is a very easy install, the trickiest part is removing the sping loaded part from the old paddles, whatever you do don't lose the spring they have a habit of popping out, so make sure you do it in full light.

Hey if I can do it anyone can.....

It depends how much you intend to you the paddles to shift manually. The standard shifters are fine for most driving. Using a 9 - 3 hand position allows you to have the greatest rotation of the steering wheel without needing to shuffle hands - but it still only means 180 degrees. So for any corner which requires greater than 180 rotation of the steering wheel, you need to adjust your hand placement. But this means your hands are no longer over the paddles.
So accelerating out of a slow long corner, the upshift paddle often ends up nowhere near when your hands end up. The S2TPP paddles give you far more flexibility in these situations, with owners who already have them stating they have a much easier time now. With the standard paddles, you'd either need to stop accelerating until you turned the wheel back around to reach the paddles, reach down and use the stick, or just redline the engine so it shifts up automatically to protect itself.

For what it's worth, most "expensive" high performance/supercars/race cars have paddles which are similar in shape/style/size to the S2TPP paddles.

They apparently feel nicer being metal too.... plus they look cool

1 set of black purchased! Seemed to have started a monster. So whats next to turn our attantion too in order to get the wait time off our minds? I have never really been into body modifications but a few parts from the revozport catalogue look appetising.
United Grey R: All the accessories (leather, not Recaro's though), S2P paddles, Kuftech DVD in motion. Carbon grill, mirrors and diffuser awaiting to be fitted.

LOL I didn't even think about that, might only use them once. Just the wait is killing me and I got bored! I was sitting in a DSG R at the dealer today and the factory ones look crap compared to these so if nothing else, it gets rid of some plastic!

We just need Coreying to focus his attention on a group buy Stage 1 ECU upgrade

I am sure we could get ? at least ten people for a stage 1 ECU whilst awaiting delivery of their R.

I would be a certainty to sign up.
Would that be enough to get a group discount ?

I'll have a chat with Guy. The issue of course is that we're all in different states, and therefore would be going to separate independent businesses to acquire and pay for the product. It's rather different than all purchasing something from the one company.

Btw, did you put through your order for the black paddles?
