No, my TDI hatch also has unlined door pockets (and you can lose small items into the bottom of the door.)
Cost cutting or just lack of thought?
Hi All,
Recently picked up a new Golf Wagon, 103TDI Comfortline.
I noticed that the bottom of the front door storage space is just hard plastic with no liner - stuff rattles and slides around in there.
Our MK5 had rubber liners in the same area - should the MK6 have these or not ?
The door trims are not the same as the MK6 hatch.
I will ask the dealer next week, but was hoping for a heads up from members that may already know.
Cheers

My MK6 hatch is lined with a type of felt on the bottom of the door pockets. The wagon must be different.

The wagon is different - the doors are Jetta as far as I can tell.
I do like our new wagon and have spent some time in a Golf MK6 hatch as well, but having come from a MK5 you can definetly see there has been some cost cutting.
The MK6 is more refined in many areas, but its easy to see where savings have been made when your familiar with the MK5.
If the doors are from a Jetta they have left out the felt cause my wife's Jetta has felt in the door pockets. I find the interior of the mk6 hatch more refined than the Jetta.
