Not motorsport rims ... not even something that You can find on this official VW Germany website:

    http://www.volkswagen-zubehoer.de/sh...allfelgen.html

more locking as as Golf MK5 2l FSI standard rims in black

Here (VW Germany) there is few good locking packages - tyres & wheels ... but not sure is it possible to buy them here:

    Latest on the VMR's..

    Hi,

So I have ball park pricing for 19" V710s will be about $1100 AUD plus local shipping costs. We are finalizing the pricing, so I will get back to you with definite pricing.

    Best Regards...Ty
For those coming late to the situation, these will be available locally and you wont have to import them.

The recent deal done for US peeps was $799 USD a set for 18's. So considering these are local, i'd say $1100 is a great deal.

I believe the rims in question are VW racing UK rims

Saw this new wheel brand before and thought some of you MK6 guys who are looking for new wheels might be interested. Similar styling to the VMR's and well priced, plus they look the shiz and something different.

Pretty good sizing (18s and 19s) and good offsets. Appears these have been aimed at new VW and Audi (and BMW) customers as they are all 5x112 and 5x120 (BMW fitment)

Sounds good. Looking forward to see how much shipping will be. When I asked VMR about them a few months ago, shipped from America they would work out to be $1400AUD, but that doesn't include GST.

Guess I better start saving my pennies!!

    Thanks for the updates elisiX

It's local shipping mate. ie; The wheels will be $1100 AUD landed here in AU!

So depending on who will distribute them, itll be regular Sydney metro shipping for example.

Good point, I still had international shipping rates in my head where weight effects the cost so much!! lol

Good price for a nice looking set of wheels. Do you know what the weight diff is compared to say a stock 18" detroit wheel?
