Reverse Camera Issues

Hi all,

I had an OEM camera installed about a month ago in my mk6. Head unit rcd510.

It has started playing up. The badge flips as it should but the image is distorted.



Has anyone had similar issues and have any ideas on what the issue may be?

MMMM mine did that after 5 years and eventually i just had a blue blank screen , was going to cost $1400 to fix , left it and sold the car 6 months later, dude who bought the car said , never had one so i wont miss it , more interested in my tune .

Was it the same issue? Do you know if it was an issue with the head unit or the camera?

It was the camera , so the cost was a new camera not OEM , my screen was getting weird pics like yours for quite some time , it would be ok one day and crazy the next , eventually it just went blank .
My independent could do nothing , and suggested the specialist .
If its OEM you should have a warranty claim .

Thanks spellbound. Damn was hoping it would be the head unit as there are always rns510’s available.
