    Retrofitting Front Fog Lamps

Is it possible to purchase and have after market front fog lamps fitted to the Mk6 golf (118 TSI)?

I chose not to have these built into the car but am now regretting this.

If so, does anyone know of a reputable seller and installer of aftermarket kit?

Took my car into dealer for 1500 free service yesterday (They even washed it!)
While there, asked about retrofit fog lights.
In my case, Y11 build, fog lights as factory fitting only available with sport pack.
re retrofit advised NO NO as causing big problems. Only reliable way is to install entirely seperate wiring loom, fuse, relay, and switch.
EG, do not attempt to integrate into VW system
Darn it, as big fogs where I live, and there are WOMBATS out there at night!

Not exactly the same as fog lights/lenses but Osram 65w Rallye globe made an appreciable improvement to our Tiguans night driving w/out fitting additional lights (regretfully didn't spec fogs), Candlepower in the US, $23 ea (fitted 4) $15 post. Might be some legal issue if ever identified (have to be pretty keen inspections unlike retro-fit xenons)??? Same-ish bulb life as OEM globes, no 'try hard' light diminishing, (sp edit) glare inducing blue tint either. Have a look into the Tiguan forums for more about fog lights. There seem to be options out there using OEM partsfor $3-400. Also if I recall a VW OEM replacement rotary/pull out switch. Probably the same aftermarket landscape for Golfs as Tiguans.

    Volkswagen Golf VI 2.5 > Lighting > Fogs > ES#1876872 Fog Light Conversion Kit - 1K0998021

These look to be a good option as well. I'm undecided as to whether the front fogs look good or bad, something about them doesn't fit with the rest of the car. The GTI on the other hand the fogs fit in with the whole look perfectly.

Either way if you do install you have to change the headlight switch to incorporate the fog lights .

Yeah that's mentioned I the link I provided. The switch is an additional $80 or so I think.
