I think there is VCDS coding required if you want the cornering lamp function to work... Also the headlight switch is different for cars that have front+rear fogs (rather than just the standard rear fogs)...

    Have a look on eBay.

Some sellers offer a 'kit' with everything, including plug-in patch looms.

You'll also need to work out what CECM/BCM her car has.

For foglights to work, they require a highline BCM. If you have a highline BCM, you should be able to get an oem retrofit kit and it should plug straight into the BCM and work perfectly.

Otherwise, you can either upgrade to a highline BCM (bit of a pain, tbh), or you can get a different retrofit kit, which has a relay and fuse, that doesnt plug into the BCM.

Going the BCM route means it will be fully OEM and give you lights out warning/cornering ability, where as you won't get that with a relay. Just replacing the BCM is a massive pain, and can get pretty expensive.

I've gone the relay/fuse route, cost me ~$80 in parts and shipping for the wiring kit, switch and light adapters (needed since i'm plugging into GTI lights, which are different lamps). Think you can get the OEM style retrofit kit for around ~$100-150 with the Mk6 lamps, and a highline BCM is ~$100-200.

If you do a google around you'll find instructions for both methods, but the first thing to do is confirm what CECM/BCM you have.
