Would it be advisable to go straight for the APR tune or spend a bit on some anti roll bars and springs beforehand? I'm still sitting on 16 inch stock wheels at the moment, theres been talk on a couple of other threads about lightweight wheels, possibly enkeis. BTW i checked and the APR tune is 1395AUD at the moment. Its bloody tempting
May I ask where you saw the 1350 price?

Just call them for a price quote. They're pretty helpful. Number is on their website goapr.com.au

My tires are nearly out of tread so I'll be looking for good prices for the PS3's as well (since they fit the 16" wheel size). Hopefully whoever of us gets them first can let the other know initial impressions.

    Only because i'm bored....

So if I look at the image date it comes up with: Wednesday, 3 August 2011 3:44:58 AM

Today being: Thursday, 11 August 2011 3:58:00 PM

We can deduce that 'The next week' has passed.

So now if I am to navigate to the model in question (APR - High Performance Development for Audi, VW and Porsche Vehicles.)

We will find the price $1550 there...

The price that was listed in this thread was $1350 ....

    So yeah, I can read....

Be interested in how you go. Mrs car has the sports pack with 17"'s.

Ride comfort is fine but I find the Bridgestone's loud at Highway speeds on coarse chip (all the roads we drive on).

So I am interested to read about the real life differences tyres and or dynamat will make particularly noise coming from the rear hatch area. So if tyres cure the problem (like Pirelli's did on wifes SP23) I wont bother with dynamat.

The road noise on the open road is the only negative to a fantastic car.

Hello all, just thought I'd put up and update. I have installed a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 3s, and got an APR ECU flash for my 118. Tyres are far better than the factory dunlop fastresponse set, and oddly enough 40 dollars cheaper per tyre than what the dunlops sell for retail. Go figure. The APR flash is awesome, I think this is what the car is supposed to feel like out of the box. Overall i still feel like I have factorylike comfort levels with a bit more go, and the new rubber lends a bit of confidence and is certainly quieter. Very wolf in sheep's clothing. Next up - need to add some doof in the back
