    david at barloworld fivedock aint that great either. lied about the delivery date a few times, no follow up with any calls or messages after we already signed the contract. cant say i would recommend this delaership at all, would advise going somewhere else.

    Positive feedback from me for Barloworld Five Dock - I had no problems whatsoever with Shahram and Yan. On the other hand - Chatswood Classic Cars seem incompetent at all levels.

    yan was okai for me cause he fixed my probs, and cause his the sales manager... so he doesnt need to do the i need to go get approval on the price we've agreed upon bull****

    I bought my GTI from Lorelei at Barloworld Mascot.
    It was a very good experience which was made better a month or so after the purchase when Lorelei took the time to ask how my car was going when she saw me at the service counter (booking it in for a rattle investigation). Lorelei was able to help me out with a loan car too.
    Very pleasant to deal with, her great, professional service is the reason I'd recommend her.

    Spent 30 minutes at the Chatswood dealership yesterday waiting to look at the R and talk to a salesman. I was informed by the receptionist that the car was out on "test drive" and would be back any minute". After 30 minutes of standing around the showroom waiting for the car to come back and not being approached by any of their salesforce (about 5 of them looking VERY BUSY at their desks), I gave up and left

    Salesmen are such treasures.................

    I can understand everyone complaining about salesmen/women...and I agree, some of them are plain rude, and just out there to make a buck. It's difficult to make everyone happy when you're already looking after a customer, and having someone else rag on you. At the same time, that's their career choice.

    I do give some of them the benefit of the doubt, as it is a hard job, especially when dealing with snotty customers that complain non stop. You would expect that after waiting 30 minutes for a car to come back, someone would come up to you and say "Sorry for the delay, can I get you anything while you wait?". Some places do, some don't care. At the end of the day, we're all human. I have in inbox of about 400 unread emails at work that I haven't read or replied to. Sometimes, you just don't have the time to keep everyone happy.

    Bottom line: if you're a rude salesperson that cares about $'s at the end of the day, you deserve the feedback you get. If you're a straight cut person that is upfront with customers always, but just doesn't have the time to keep everyone happy 24/7, I would totally understand.

    Disappointingly normal response from Chatswood. I bought my MkV from there, and gave them a chance with the MkVI but poor service from the sales staff again meant I just left and went elsewhere.

    I'd recommend the salesman I had when I bought my MkVI but he's left and moved to Queensland.

    I live about 2km from the Chatswood dealership and was a little disappointed by their service. I then went to the Brookvale dealership and received marginally better service. I'm buying my car from Gosford after all so it means a one hour trip to pick it up but the service there is far superior and heaps more friendly...so far..

    I also got mine from Russell at Denlo Parramatta. I found him to be easy to deal with and straight forward and gave me the best price out of the dealers I went to. No mucking around and wasting my time like another dealership which will remain unnamed. He kept me up to date on the delivery and they actually delivered it about 10 days earlier than what was on the contract, so no complaints there.
