Agree'd. Tony was really good at his job from Parra Denlo. And it only added to the experience, the fact that all the staff on floor were attentive and concerned all the time. Felt like shopping at LV!! Its who I went with, but Brookvale were really good to (James Collins).

But Mascot.. was simply the worst dealership experience I had in my entire life buying anything from anyone. It was the most disgusting thing I had ever seen, and nearly made me go back to buying Subaru. The sales people slimey and the manager even worse.

If I was a prick, a letter to VW could bring the wrong attention to the employment status' of those 2.

    Steer clear!!!!

Hey guys. After months of waiting for it to be released, I finally test drove and ordered my 3 door Golf R today.
I just wanted to give all you guys a head up. Mathew Gazzard from Denlo Volkswagen at Parramatta was great to deal with and gave me a price that I'm very pleased with. If anyone in the Sydney area is looking for a great purchasing experience on a Volkswagen, I thoroughly recommend that you shoot him an email or give him a call on his direct line:

Yep. Thing is I want ACC, but instead went the extra doors.. now Im wondering If I should get ACC as well.. PATHETIC!! I keep adding stuff.. It started off being a Golf GTI 3DR in manual.. haha

And yeah, your car sounds nice.

Cant wait to get mine though..

PS the RVC option is awesome too.. can I retro fit it, whilst still getting the flip down VW badge?

It's not worth retro fitting it. If you want it, get it from the factory... it'll end up costing you DCC money otherwise

I went through Russell at Deno Parramatta. At the end of the day, he is a nice guy, gave me the price i was chasing, didn't bulls#$t about delivery time frames, we both understood each other perfectly, pick up the car next Wednesday.

He was the cheapest out of VW Chatswood, VW Barloworld Mascot.

Another very recent sale through Denlo and Russell. I did quite a bit of shopping around and am still waiting (over 2 weeks) for some dealers to call me back, even after following up a few times from dealers much closer...

Maybe it's just a busy period with the whole EOFYS stuff, but some guys made me feel like they were doing me a favour just talking to me and valuing my trade. Funniest moment was a dealer that tried to crunch me on a buy today or lose it approach. He wanted me to deal on a Black/DSG/17"/Cloth, while I was looking for a Red/Manual/18"/Leather....

I've worked in sales for around 20 years but was amazed at the general lack of listening or follow up, except of course for Russell, who was also busy, but did spend the time with me, no spin and also as a result did the deal.

Good to hear. I agree real good dealers at Parramatta Denlo. Professionals at what they do, and great guys to deal with.
