I'm curious, have you run standard plugs on the stage 2 tune?

No, Ever since I had the stage 1 tune I've run the BKR7EIX. I am having some curious issues with soft boost limp limiting me to 15 PSI. If I set the map to 98 mode and turn the ignition off it happens tends to be limited to 15 PSI boost. Also seems to happen when turning the AC off.

Resetting the map to 98 fixes it. Any suggestions related to that would be welcome. Going to get the car VCDS scanned next service over a few runs to see what it throws up.

If you haven't seen it already, there's a guy called Blower here and elsewhere who who's looked at the APR maps for this engine in a lot of detail, especially around misfires and limp modes.

He posted some detailed info here:

I haven't experienced any limp mode issues, well as far as I can tell. I don't have a permanent boost gauge, I usually just run one on a mobile connected via OBD and see a max of 24psi.

That's interesting, what phone, cable and app do you use for that?

I'm using a KW902 (ELM327) Bluetooth dongle connected to a Google Pixel 2 running Torque OBD.
