Well worth the entry price and bruised thumb! Anyone here with a manual should do themselves a favour as it is money well spent!!
    Hi KRA21E
Can you please advise where you purchased you QS from and how much was it????

    058oys,

MrBob is correct. I bought it from DieselGeek US.

Hahahaha...take it easy on him, after all the DSG is to compensate for the diminishing reaction times that comes with age...

Thats the main reason i installed one. I have to say though it is lot of fun with it installed. I too wear my ring on the left but swap it to the right so i don't scratch the gearknob to bits!

I think I will just get a divorce, then I can get rid of the ring and other related costs.

Late model MKV shift bushings suit the MK6 GTI.

Good news for you MK6 people, here is a very long video I found that confirms the late model MKV shift bushings suit the MK6 GTI in the least, they obviously carried over the shifting mechanisms, thus MKV shortshifts and the like should also fit. As my MKV TDI has those same ends / mechanisms, I'd assume the GTD and quite probably all MK6 Golfs would also suit.
