Please help to identify this part and what part number

Can someone please help to identify this part number and what it is called?

Preferable where I can source one.

It's the plastic trim around the shift boot.

    Much appreciated.

Here in the USA, the franchise dealers have parts departments with all the information needed to determine the PN and even obtain one for you. Not true where you are?

Sure. If you get a decent parts interpreter but many of them are about as useful as pockets in a singlet. Then the dealership parts prices are between 2x-4x what they are in Northern America. If it's a special order (it usually is as they don't keep it in stock) & the parts interpreter orders the wrong thing, then the "customer" has to pay for it & no returns.

I still have a Tiguan luggage hold down bracket on my desk that I paid $70 (about USD80) that was supposed to be a bag hook. Tuffski Shytski was the dealers attitude.

That's why many of us find out what the correct number is & order from overseas.
