not bad that one looks sleek where do you have it fitted on the windscreen or dashboard? i wonder if there is something that places it next to the radio screen itself?

I have it in the windscreen on the right hand side, phone itself just sits pretty much above the steering wheel (but not in the way) so its pretty easy to dial etc without having to reach too far (when stopped of course)

nice i just somehow dont like cable hanging from windscreen all the way down to centre mdi port.... i am thinking hooking it up to the fan but that does decrease I guess Air Con capabilities at least it ll keep it cool haha would. would that suction cup hold if u put in on the side of the centre console?

Try this Brodit Clip (654261 ProClip). This neat mounting bracket clips into the original Golf surround. This clip is available for the VI. I can't get the picture to embed, but try the link:

I have that belkin cradle thing and the handsfree button fell apart. Also the sound quality wasnt the best.

Im gonna try the griffin tuneflex one next as it draws audio from the dock connector instead of the headphone jack.

That would be a much better solution. Connecting the 3.5mm is a PITA.
