I believe RVC comes on automatically when you select reverse and Park Assist reverts to sound only. Dunno if you can toggle between them though.
I'm curious to know how these two function interact on the screen when they're both installed in a car? Park assist kicks in with a button right? Does the RVC work by simply selecting reverse? And how do you toggle between them?
My apologies for all the questions. I really should get the car so I can stop thinking about it.

If you're talking about the parallel park assist then yes, that is toggled via a button in the centre console and both the parallel park assist and RVC function simultaneously once you've engaged Reverse to park.
As such you don't really toggle between the two functions as they actually complement each other whilst parallel parking, though on the RCD510 whilst your car is in Reverse you can optionally have the Optical Parking System diagram imposed on top of the RVC image to the left of the screen. Once your car has engaged neutral or park or 1st gear, the RVC image disappears and you're left with the OPS display only.
If you don't have RVC then the RCD510 will obviously only ever display the OPS diagram at all times during parallel park assist.

If you have the RNS510, the RVC picture takes the whole screen. There is a button on the lower right of the touch screen which toggles between RVC and park assist sensors. This works with normal park assist.

One of the big things it shows is the RVC with optical parking sensors etc.
Many thanks for all the replies, much appreciated.

Yes, RVC engages when reverse is selected, and the picture takes up the whole screen with the RNS510. You can toggle between camera and OPS with the touch screen.
Parking assist needs to be engaged before you reach the car bay. So press the button, slow down to 35km/h (from memory) or slower. The MFD screen in the instrument cluster will display a little diagram of your car and the side of the road. When it detects a gap, it will indicate it. Drive past the gap, and the MFD will tell you when to select reverse gear. Do so, take your hands of the wheel, and then use the accelerator and brake to slowly back the car into the spot. Use the audible and visual queues to determine when to select drive. All done!
I love the trick - awesome.

I've just noticed, when I engage the Optical Parking System on it's own, there is a greyed out RVC button on the bottom right corner that I cannot select.
