    Plastic wrap

I used ventureshield from www.invisiblacarbras.com.au . James Pierce (0419 435 427) from Scoresby (works on your site) did mine.

This was on my Trakkadu camper, so a lot more to cover. He did the whole front bonnet (not just the leading edge), A pillars, grill and 'chin', leading edge of pop-top, as well as rear step (for scuff marks when loading) and leading edges of gas bottle box and rear vent. Cost $1100 (inc GST), but as I say, it was a lot more than what is usually done on a car.

I've been very happy with it. 60,000Km now (including Cape Yorke trip) and no stone chips showing. It also seems easier to clean, especially for the bugs.
I'll certainly do it again if I update.

Make sure you notify your insurance company, so you get coverage for removal/replacement in the event of an incident.

Absolutely spot on - and it's nothing new, they tried it when I was buying a laser TX3 back in 1990. I suppose it must worth enough profit, otherwise they wouldn't still be doing it now.

Just say no (unless you get something extra from her)..

    And do a search...

I recommend the paint protection film, much better and protects for stone chips.

That's funny - I did my deal over the phone and found it strange when a woman, rather than the guy I was dealing with, called to offer paint protection etc (to which I said no thanks!)...

I can't comment on the aftermarket protection but I spent a bit on some quality car care products have actually enjoyed polishing and waxing my new car!
