thanks, i'll probably not get sunroof since i dont have a garage.
and i'll go test out the audio myself too see if it's worth 1800$~~ since i dont listen to anyhting overly loud as long as stock dont have static and stuff would prolly settle for it

Well - it's not 'loudness' that you purchase a good quality system for. In fact, people with crap quality systems typically turn the volume up in an effort to obtain a perceived 'clearer listening conditions' whereas a good quality system doesn't need to be turned up as high to achieve the same clarity.

I am no audio phile. I have been quite satisfied with the RCD310 that came as standard in my 118tsi. It has all the essential stuff you need. Sounds fine to me and heaps better than the setup in my Toyota Kluger Grande (which I know means little). Can be set to get louder as you drive faster. You can adjust AUX in volume to match the device. Shows the text and song names that radio stations transmit. Like you said, test the two out in the showroom and see what you reckon.
For me at least - putting some of that saved $1800 toward an APR tune was far more rewarding.
Can't vouch for its accuracy but this differences page should give you a guide as to how the different units compare. I think the 90tsi comes with the RCD210 and the 118tsi is already one rung up the ladder with the RCD310.

I have been very happy with the standard RCD310 unit in my 118TSI. If you're an audio buff you may be tempted to spend more dollars but, really, if you're not, use the money on something that is of interest.

If you're ordering a car you should include the factory fit MDI for iPhone (iPod app) or iPod. You then get full control through the RCD310 unit.

I spent a little extra on Park Assist, not because I can't park(!), but I think it was the only way you could get front and rear parking sensors factory fit. Anyhow, it's a great novelty AND it actually works, particularly in tight, city streets. I was paranoid at first because I don't deal very well with 'kerbed' alloys and it probably parks closer to the kerb than I would normally. Anyhow, it hasn't 'kerbed' my wheels so that makes me happy.

Sunroof tilts and slides. I always order this, not because I open it much, but I like the extra light. Also, from all recent VW's I've owned, it does help to sell the car (privately) and better hold its value.

I'm very pleased i ordered the Sportpack. Handles well but still comfy.

Leather is good. Although keep in mind that more and more bits in leather trimmed vws are not actually leather - a very good match though. You can tell visually in the right light but you can tell by touch - the vinyl is more elastic feeling. I think the colour match is brilliant in my Corn Silk Beige.

    Hope the above helps!

Dynaudio is impressive, see if you can find a car at the dealership fitted with it and go have a listen.

For me, I bought an RCD510 headunit off ebay to replace the RCD310 and it was well worth it. The main issue is navigating an iPod. I have a 32GB iPod with my entire music collection on it and navigating that much music through the RCD310 is painful. The touchscreen of the RCD510 is much better and looks very classy too.
