lol yeah - using a scanner and putting it into a PDF document would be best. Although I'm not sure of the legality of that.
It'd just be nice if VW did it themselves and made them available. They're an awesome reference source.

According to copyright laws you are allowed to photocopy/scan one chapter or 10% of a book. Now if we all scanned a chapter or 10% each copyright will not be breached!

To add to this, if it was going to be used for 'Educational Purposes' then we can copy it as long as we acknowledge the authors

Volkswagen needs to lift their game. I downloaded a PDF of the MINI Cooper S manual the day I signed on the dotted line for mine way back in 2004. That was 3 1/2 months before I got the actual car.

Agreed. If the manual was available online, I'd have read it cover to cover three times over by now! I'd even pay (a sensible amount) to get a copy.

Unfortunately the seats don't fold flat in the MK5 and MK6. They do in the Mk4 but VW seemed to have taken this feature away. In the MK4 you can take the whole back seat out .... this was handy for the upright transportation of my Dad's 42inch LCD TV in its Box ... he could not do it in his MK5.
