I picked these up from a Singapore forum

VW China’s VP to step down following DSG scandal, report says
It's spreading.
VW has begun offering FIVE year warranties on DQ200 DSGs in Singapore now. I think things are changing now. Seems like there may be inherent flaws in this DSG for now.

I think my saga is over!!! I just had the clutch pack replaced a 2nd time (Just before warranty ran out) and this time I think they've solved the problem. Fingers crossed so far there is no shudder from D1 to D2 and in 2 days I think I have covered enough variety of driving conditions. Probably wait another week before definitively celebrating, but so far so good
The service guys told me that the clutch pack has been redesigned for 2012. Doesn't make sense to me as I thought a friction pad is a friction pad.
Anyway, I am thinking of the DSG tune to preserve the life of the new clutches.

Keep us posted, but 2 days seems a little early to celebrate. My first replacement was perfect for 7 days before a few niggles resurfaced.
