I'm not in the country now and my wife usually ignores any mail from VW till I'm back.
If there was, you'd have a letter by now.
Don't go asking your dealer to alter the mapping of the DSG for you. They simply wont do it.

the stupid noise from the DSG7 is total normal. All cars with DSG7 have the same stupid clack clack from the day one!
I have 5500km and from the first day i hear it at some roads .
As i said VW has a new better clutch pack from early January
There are many people here suggesting Australia does not have lemon laws. This is not entirely correct.
The ACCC provides statutory warranty on all products sold in Australia to protect consumers. Repair, replace, refund
"Under the consumer guarantees, your rights are not limited to a set time period. Instead, they last for the amount of time that is reasonable to expect given the cost and quality of the item or any representations made about the item."
Spending 30k+ for a brand new car, I think it is reasonable to expect that the gearbox lasts longer than 5 years (possibly more). If dealers are giving you a hard time just lodge a complain with ACCC.
Was driven to the train station yesterday in a 7spd DSG Golf that wasn't the 118 (slower). It still had a bit of pick-up off the line (as long as it shifted down some gears) but was silky smooth. I actually thought we were in the diesel 6spd until I noticed the number 7 on the MFI.
i have Jetta mk5 2010 model with 1.6L engine and DSG7, i am @20000km and i start feeling the judder pulling out of corners or intersections
