But the car has the compliance plate in the boot right?
Yes I will be honest I did urge them to deliver it, who wouldn't ? After waiting 5 months for something and the dealer telling me on Friday the car was ready and that they would deliver it Monday, I did what any normal person would do and started planning all the extra's to get done to the car, organising people to pick me up from the places the car needs to go to, plus I have a wedding I need to go to this Saturday so it wasn't leaving me a lot of time...
The car does have the complience plate in the boot yes, I am not sure of all the processes that it goes through but I think you are right in that there has something gone wrong with getting the information to QLD Transport which is where everything has fallen apart and it doesn't seem like the people who are in the wrong are in any hurry to fix the issue up.
Currently waiting for VW Australia to call me back on what they have found out and of course the dealer is still trying to get it all sorted as well...
