Mine arrived in Melbourne two weeks back (Thursday May 13). It cleared customs and moved to the Patricks compliancing/transport yard the following Monday (17th). I was looking at a few cars on the WW website around that time, and 3-5 days appears to be the norm.
Expect the car to be held for compliancing for a week or more before it can be dispatched to the dealer, however.

But once it arrives at the dealer, it's still not ready to be picked up! The car is an absolute mess at this stage. Still largely wrapped in plastic, huge stickers covering the bonnet, blue foam parts on all the door edges, all the seats wrapped in plastic, spring rubbers in the suspension so the ride height is increased for shipping - the list goes on and on. They need to remove all these things, thoroughly clean the car, and do an extensive check before it can be considered "ready for delivery". Even in an absolute rush, you're a 4 solid hours of labour there (based on other reports here of people turning up at dealers and the car in "shipping state"). So as others have said. Plan on 3 weeks from time of your car to be delivered once landed.
As AdamD said, that gives it the 1 business week to clear customs, 1 business week to clear compliancing, and 1 week for it to be transported to the dealer and prepared by them. That way you won't end up here havinga whinge when 2 weeks have passed and you're upset because you haven't yet received delivery
My Mk6 is now with the dealer and will be ready next week, though no actual day yet.

Yes, I agree with you - I was one of skeptical buyers but after the buying experience last night, I do not certainly think that salespeople are evil beings.
I asked the dealer and he told me that it's not worth getting them if it is after factory add-on as the labour will cost more than the actual foglights.

Thanks Coreying....the dealer has been spot on so far and good at communciating with me each week - I haven't had to chase them at all! They have said 3 weeks to get the car to them and they only need 3 days...which i thought was a little short. I certainly don't want to rush the dealer - there are too many stories of cars not being ready....
