wow, u really came across sounding as being really pissy with that statement. sure it might be a day or 3 late, and installing the rns510 isnt a big deal, hundreds of golf owners have done the install without hassles, antennae included. the rims isnt an issue either.
u saying if u can cancel over minor issues like this reminds me of the "1st world issues" memes. where people r moaning and griping over petty crap when more significant issues occur. get a grip please. just wait the few days and be done with it, try an negotiate free servicing for the first 2 services or something for the heartache and hardship that u have been put thru, emo kid

Umm.. i think it's more than just that.
I cannot see how "the factory" came up with such an error (wheels and h/u).
Humans make the error, and not factories.
Sadly, too many people are too quick to pass the buck and blame someone else..
It would be nice if the situation was resolved quickly, efficiently, and without BS.
I mean, how much more credibility would there be if teh dealer simply said
"sorry sir, we unfortunately made an error with your order, but we have taken steps to resolve this as expediently as possible. Furtehr to compensate you for this error we are willing to throw in...a free boot mat/service/loan car"
how much would that have effected the bottom line? how much would that have benefitted the dealer?
.... there is no problem without a solution....
More opportunites have been lost from indecision, rather than wrong decision....
Easily said walbjj. entice got it in one.
I would have no problem if the dealer had just informed me that there had been a mistake, the car actually came without the sat nav but it would not be a problem whatsoever to install it pre-delivery. I can't just make mods on the car as it is on a novated lease so it is what it will be.
The frustration stems from turning up on Friday and waiting a bit to finally be shown the car, identifying something is different, and then being told that the sat nav had been installed in another car—they should be able to rectify everything by Monday or Tuesday. Today I'm then told via the finance company that the dealer is claiming that the factory had made an error and by the way, delivery cannot be done until Thursday or maybe Friday. I just want to cut through the bull**** and get the facts—including the actual delivery date. It's like, we've got your sale so you just have to wait.
If that's the case I'm happy to walk and actually deal with someone like Sutherland VW which I have been hearing a lot of good things from friends and colleagues.

Technically you cant mod the lease car but its your car in your name. Ive modded previous lease cars mildly and the lease company could care less but id make sure warranty expires and or isnt affected. Its mostly so only scheduled authorised stuff is paid for the account. Maybe im wrong but i never had issue.
Just got word from my VW dealer. My car is there and it will be ready to pick up on Tuesday.
