    Just pulled the trigger today and put in an order for a 5 door GTI.

    Specs ordered: Carbon Steel, DSG, ACC, Detroits alloys, DYNAudio premium sound system, leather

    Nice. Apparently gray (read Carbon Steel) is the new white. You won't be disappointed. Great car to be in every day!

    Initially the colour choices were either deep black or candy white. In the end I just mixed them together and voila, it became grey lol

    Ordered my new baby on Monday.

    Golf R, 5 door manual, Candy White, Black 19s, Recaros, Sunroof, Dynaudio, Adaptive Chassis Control. Estimated delivery 1 April 2012.

    Now for the wait...

    I ordered the car using a novated lease arrangment. Finance payment amounts to around $47400 for a MY12 build.

    I'm waiting to hear back with regards to the delivery date.

    Where did you order from if don't mind to ask? And what your dealer react to this process? I hope I can get letter, call or email either from VWA or Dealer regarding to my R coming.

    I got it from Highway Autogroup at springwood back in march.
