I cant believe I just read that.
As I washed my car today my friend came over and though I was insane for having 3 seperate brushes for cleaning the wheels!!!!!! too funny except one of mine is more like a mini- mop which is great for getting all the way to the inner rim and the bits between the calipers esp on the front rim.
My wheels take well over an hour to clean whereas is the car is not very dirty I can be drying within an hour.
Will give the QD as I have also heard it prevents to dust from adhering.

Having said that I spend the same amount of time washing my wheels as I do the car.. I have a separate wheel and rinse buckets. I have 3 different brushes to pull the dust off.. A vikan general purpose for the arches, face and tyres, I have a deep soft brush for inside the wheels and this stupid microfibre dishwashing brushto get behind the spokes. And just to make sure I have got everything I give a general wipe before rinse with a microfibre mit.

My driveway is generally black with all the dust after that effort but the wheels pop.. I also hit them with QD before I dry them down to get that showroom shine back.

So I guess the answer to your question about dust is yes and no

I tip my hat to you brother.. the only problem is after all that work the first drive kills me cause I know I am putting dust back on them but what the hey

The QD is worth it.. and it is cheap and lasts

Oh and if you want another tip, use window cleaner on your piano black areas ( side mirrors, front grille and sides )

I present to you what is possibly the first R-Line 1.4TSI Golf in Australia. The R-Line pack is available for Polos, Golfs, Tiguans, Sciroccos, Touaregs and pre-facelift Passat CCs in Europe. Think S-line pack for Audis, AMG sports pack for Mercs and the M Sport pack for BMWs.

MY09 90TSI | DSG | Comfort package | Sunroof | 18" BBS CH Black wheels | H&R F+R sway bars | KW V1 coilovers | R-line exterior (F+R bumpers, skirts, rear wing, tailights) | R steering wheel | Comfortline upper/highline lower front chrome grilles | Door sill protective strips | black roof and exterior mirror caps | stainless steel exhaust tips
