What's you timing on that.. and how does one move from a wicked set of wheels they have poured heart soul and hard earned coin to get it right.. I have only just started with the R and figure they will have to make something real special to make me move on anytime soon

Middway through next year I will be car shopping and yes... the problem with replacing the Golf R wheels is that they look damn good from the factorie. A lot of ppl change wheels on their R and I personally am left wondering if they look better than the talladega's they just work! Saving un-sprung weight is a good reason though.
However, the BBS CH-R is one wheel that is very worthy to be on an R IMO

ANy Mk5 owners interested in the 35th Anniversary GTI? I went to test drive a GTI last week (was bored and wanted to compare it to the Stage 1 Comfortline) and the guy at Burwood reckoned a lot of enthusiasts would be after this one for its collectability.

Hopefully no-one's already posted these here (I think they are in the Announcements area somewhere though). Expected in ?early? 2012.

Apparantly it's a little cheaper than a normal GTI if it had the same options ticked (35th comes with xenons, etc).

The ED 35 is an interesting proposition.. you should read that thread to get a real sense of what getting one might mean.. I like them from a looks point of view and the Pirrelli engine config.. but the same argument will float around about value compared to a standard GTI
