I'm seeing a lot of badly placed GPS units as well recently. Taxi drivers are generaly bad enough without added distractions/visual impairments

I also don't believe they're using them in SA anymore either! I can't wait for the eastern states to wake up to themselves. It cost VIC $5 mil last year (or the year before? and really, it cost tax payers/road users) to REPRINT a bunch of them because of a glue issue. It's so crap because no Police officer will "take the word" of the label that you've paid your fees. The will grab the rego and punch it into their computer to determine the status. It's not the 1950's - 90's anymore!

LOL. This years Vic rego sticker is Orange and when you peel it off the paperwork it has green smudges all over it because the green area where the rego sticker is placed on the paperwork has bled the green ink. When I first noticed this was when my wife put a new rego sticker on her car. Thought she peeled it off too quick until I did mine. It looks ****e !!!! Can't get rid of them quick enough!!

LOL how is a little sticker in the top corner of the passenger side windscreen obtrusive? I'm more worried about the growing trend of STUPID IDIOTS who stick satnavs on the windscreen. Majority of them are right in front of the face, yeah that is great for vision...
Thanks for all the positive comments,

The wheels are 19 x 8.5 Breyton GTS-AV with a custom white lip.
As for the suspension the car has acc so i didnt go coilovers, the standard springs have been reset so the acc still works

That's so parking inspectors and police can read it clearly etc. However, as long as your tint is "legal" (i.e. 35%) then no one will have problems reading it during the day, and any police or parking inspectors working at night carry torches anyway... so I've never personally had issues in 10 years+ of doing this. It's up to you guys whether you chose to do this yourself though.
I always put it in the rear passenger-side window also for quite a long time now. I think in QLD is that it cannot be place behind any tint at all if I remember correctly. I think for Golf drivers you wouldn't have a problem but if you drove a car that attracted cop/defect attention then they might find you something to book you for, even if it's something minor like having your rego sticker behind tint, or not having water in your window washer fluid reservoir etc.

Hows the ride with the 19x8.5 setup? I will have the same at some point, hoping the ride quality wont be compromised too much..
