Nice wheels, tail-lights, plates
very nice omee...
That looks hot. Very clean and those wheels suit it perfectly. The wheels are a similar design to a set of RS4 wheels i have that are a similar gun metal grey colour. I don't want to sound like a prick, but i hope you can get your rego sticker off your tint without damaging it (the tint that is) after its been there for a year....might be a good idea to throw it on the windscreen.
I much prefer the rear bumper design and exhaust setup on the GTi to the R.
Actually - after 10 years+ of me putting my rego label on my tint, I laugh at people who DONT do it. Why make your life so hard?
Rob from Hunters Hill tint put my rego label on my tint on my left rear window after he tinted the car too!
It's much better for several reasons. A location on the left rear window is less obtrusive to the driver. (especially on a 3 door if you put it right against the B Pillar, as it's COMPLETELY not in the drivers vision). It looks better in photos. But mainly because the tint blocks out >99.9% of UV, which means the label and its glue doesn't deteriorate anywhere near like it does on the windscreen where it's basically "in direct sunlight" and being baked by that UV. Thus, when it's time to change the rego sticker, it just peels off very nicely, and usually takes all its glue with it. At most, it just needs a wipe over with some eucalyptus oil and then some regular car window cleaner, then put the next rego sticker on.
I did this 8 times in the one location on the one car without any issue... so I highly recommend it.
The only reason for not doing this is that technically, the registration label instructions state that it shouldn't be placed behind a tinted pane of glass. That's so parking inspectors and police can read it clearly etc. However, as long as your tint is "legal" (i.e. 35%) then no one will have problems reading it during the day, and any police or parking inspectors working at night carry torches anyway... so I've never personally had issues in 10 years+ of doing this. It's up to you guys whether you chose to do this yourself though.
wish VIC would allow the rego sticker to be placed on the side windows

I can't find _anything_ on either google or the vicroads site which says where the registration label must be affixed. Even in NSW, many people are not aware that it is allowed on the left side, they just assume it has to be on the front.. but the VIC site is not useful it doesn't tell you at all (that I can find).
Omee, what suspension??
Corey, good tip re rego sticker- I was one of those people who thought it had to be on the front, but good to know it can be on the left!
Easily one of the nicest MK6 GTI's I've seen. What wheels are they?
LOL how is a little sticker in the top corner of the passenger side windscreen obtrusive? I'm more worried about the growing trend of STUPID IDIOTS who stick satnavs on the windscreen. Majority of them are right in front of the face, yeah that is great for vision...
