How long do you expected to get out of the Nanolex? I've been using Duragloss 601, 105 and it's been 12 months since I last did a full detail(clay block etc) and water still beads.

12- 18 months, I have been using Wolfgang and zymol for a few years now and topping it with Dodo juice Red mist. It still beads after 8-12 months but having done this for years now I was looking for something that didn't require the high level of layering.

It was still beading before I stripped it back and did it again but I wanted to see what both the look and durability was for this newer technology

Nanolex looks like an easy process to apply? The bottle does more than one application right?

It appears that way, it is a small bottle and I wasn't sure how far it would go but it does. I think there is easily another application in there.

Yes it is easy to apply and remove as long as you get it off in under 5-10 minutes or it gets very hard to get off. I have no way to be sure but I got a sense that as it was bonding it got glossier. The good thing is it is so thin in application it doesn't get clogged or caught in any of the panel creases

Yeah, i get that a lot, I washed it before taking it into VW for a service a month ago and they came out to ask if I wanted it washed because it looked like it had just been detailed. A lot to be said for the Duragloss car wash, it really makes the paintwork pop ans is PH neutral.

Stunning, simply stunning. I now know the colour of my next Golf, RB was a subtle variation to my WRB WRX so an easy choice moving form the WRX (and unique to the R which is nice), but black wheels on Carbon Grey (and glossy at that) is very very nice! Like the plates, like the front giant plate holder removal, just like like like and more like. Thanks for sharing
Mine yesterday, after quite a number of hours washing Saturday:

No worries mate, thanks for the kind words.
I wasn't a big fan of the RB to begin with. It seemed like it was a " too obvious " choice to go with. Don't know if that makes sense. There's only a couple of RB R's kicking around town. And every time I see them they get my immediate attention, really starting to love that colour now! Just don't tell SF!
