Flappa's will look awesome, not only because of the colour, or because of the 18's, but because the Xenon's look a heap better too!

Flappa, like me, doesn't have enough time to keep his clean, and Candy White will look less dirty then Carbon Steel.

I'm not sure why people think white cars look less dirty. White is obviously one of the first cars to show dirt and dust, because it's WHITE! (just like white carpets, or shirts, or sheets, etc).

I think if you truly want a car which hides dirt, you'd go with a car which shares tones with what you're trying to hide. Dirt and grime on cars is grey and brown (depending what you've picked up), so grey cars and reds are logically (and scientifically) less likely to show that they're not clean.

An example. Road tar, and dead bugs are FAR MORE obvious on a white car than black. Dirt, especially brownish/red can is far more obvious on white than a red car.

another example, blood of the road kills will be hardly visible on a red car right ?

but Ihave to say white cars a lot cleaner then black ones ... dirt just pops out on a black ones ... so unless u have fully covered garage dont even think about black they look good but damn hard to keep clean ... as far as white goes I can not explain it but they do look like they can handle a bit mroe dirt till it starts to stand out as dirty...

My Current car is white and I can say it can handle a few weeks without a wash much easier than a dark coloured car can.

After reading Coreying's post I'm starting to wonder if I should have got my GTI in poo brown instead!

Silver seems to hide dirt very well, more than expected.

With my current dark blue, it shows dirt but not too badly.

My last cars have been shadow blue, silver, white, dark blue & maroon. The cars that appeared to be cleaner for longer were the white and silver cars. That is until they get droplets of water on them and then the dirt on the lighter cars is more noticable - lucky in Adelaide it doesn't rain that often.

So why am I buying Carbon Steel this time - my wife chose the colour under agreement that I chose any or all other options. Have to agree with her colour choice though.
