I have 11 GTI's in stock.

1 has 17" Denver's

10 have 18" Detroits.

Wow... lucky WA-ers. They can pick a new car up straight away then .
Is that because you specified them with 18inch wheels or because VW dumped you with them?

Good tactic that one... Customer is happy to not have the detroits but then finds out the wait time for delivery. Customer pays extra to drive one off the showroom floor with the detroits.

I will ALWAYS pay slightly more and compromise on options to drive a car off the showroom floor. Got me stuffed how people can actually be happy to wait 6+ months for a car. Especially since we're only talking a VW here. When I wanted my R36 I didn't want the satnav or roof and wanted white. Was going to take min. 14 weeks to order. Or I pay a bit more for the blue one with satnav and roof and delivery took 4 days. SOLD! (and I now LOVE the blue more than the white).

Funny how people are different. My wife compromised with her last 2 cars, fr quick delivery. This time she was happy to wait and get exactly what she wanted. Hows the HG going, BTW?
