Nice, very nice! Will have to keep an eye out for you.
JaxQuickFit, the only place that would get them in before March (I orded them back in December)
Don't know why no one could bring them in earlyer in ACT, proberly could have got them cheaper in Sydney but CBF driving to sydney =P
edit: Im not a fan of the rubber thats on them atm, Also does droping it effect the handling or ride much? and how much would I be looking at to drop it?

See the "wheels for my mk6 GTI" thread link (its a golfmkv.com link) for a comparison done by WhiteJames. He is the expert and has all the pros and cons of all the different setups
The mk6 is not dissimilar at all to the mkv really, so it's all good relevant info.
You could spend anywhere between $800 for sprins fitted to 15k for coilvers fitted.
KW V2's, H&R coilovers, Bilstein PSS10s just to name a few..
awesome, mate!
too expensive for me... - -
Awesome wheels. The CW looks great, but dude, gotta DROP IT.
Also, interested by the fact you ain't a fan of the rubber. I had the Marangoni's on my R32 (same size as yours) and found them to be a good all round tyre. I also remember (I think) that they won a tyre review in Motor Mag for best Performance tyre in 2007 or 2008. Plus lifetime warranty for non-repairable punctures..............I knocked a curb 1 week after I had them fitted and damaged the sidewall - replaced FREE of charge without question. Now that was service!
Yes it will. Did you go the ACC (think its called) adjustable suspension?
Don't just change the springs, it will compromise the handling.
For a decent setup, allow a few thousand. There will no doubt be cheaper options available or coming soon, but with cheaper products come compromise.
If you bought KW V1's from the UK, they would be around $2000 landed.
I was thinking of getting the same a of CH's for the Jetta, still contemplating the idea....
$4200? Where from? The lowest I've been quoted was 3600 with Falkens from JAX and they even said they could go lower... the lowest price I've heard the CH's going for was $2600 (with Falkens) from the same JAX I got the quote from, but that was when they had the sale going during Christmas... annoyed that i missed that.
ok got the recipt, they where $710 each $2840 total without rubber
from Jaxquickfittyres, And yeah it was when they had that sale on from Nov-Dec
Well that's not too bad then. lol it's a lot different to your earlier post where you estimated the wheels cost $3800!
So your rubber was about $1300? What tyres are they? - I am not familiar with them. There BBS 18x8.0 50 5/112 CH025
all together cost $4200 ish with rubber, I think without rubber it was about 3800?
2019 BMW M3 CS
Looks expensive, I suppose — 'til you check what VW want per wheel for standard Golf replacements.
I had a Mk 6 16" alloy wrecked by a semi.
Replacement cost his insurance $1064 as a VW spare part.
