MY11 Models - Changes + New Unlimited Kilometre Warranty

    Hi,

I ordered a 118TSI on the weekend and was told that it would be a MY11 model as the car was going to be built to order (arrives in September most likely - aargh so far away!). I didnt really pay much attention to it at the dealer, but does anyone know of any changes for the MY11 model?

    Cheers

America had MY changes but they have very different model structures and most off the changes were to options included on the various models.

Since we don't get the model structure they do (our options are mostly individual and not bundled together) there won't be much of a difference, maybe interior lighting or something.

The diesel manuals are being discontinued? Another disappointing casualty of our automatic-obsessed nation. (Not that I can talk, it only took a ten-minute test drive of the DSG to convince me that I wanted one.)

Nice, brings the Golf closer equipment-wise to its nearest equivalents in the Focus/Mazda3/i30 range.
Golf 118 TSI DSG, white with sports pack.

Thats weird, because i just recently switched from a polo to a golf over the weekend, and the dealer said everything in the comfort pack minus the 'auto headlights' in in the my11 trendline.

So thats : 15" , multi function steering wheel, dual climate control, rain sensor, auto dimming mirrors, cruise control and MFD.

Or have i been told wrong?

For golf a few changes none to the look of the car.. Bluetooth will be a factory option prodution starts week 22 for golf 77 mans are gone aswell as 103 . this is to make way for GTD 125 Manuels which is far enough Mans are not a huge seller here in Oz although Canberra always a strong market for Mans and as dealers it is hard work stocking all the models at one time. Of course Tigs now go DSG already been talked about on here 7speed.. yahoo.. again Blutooth factory order. Hill Start assist will be standerd on all models in Mans. (cool) Passat CC Blutooth will standard.. eos colours... No more Biscay in Tig.. (sad sad day) . All I can Share..

So Bluetooth will be a factory option for MY11 Golf. Anyone know WHICH of the various Bluetooth offerings VW will factory install? I suppose it's too much to hope for that it might be the Skoda Bluettoth ?
