Any scrubbing with 235's? I ruled out a set of V713's cos of assumed scrubbing issues with legal sized tyres. But your car is making me change my mind again

Can anyone please explain to me why most good looking aftermarket wheels for golf mk6 particularly 17X7.5 come in 45mm offset as opposed to 50/51mm OEM offset, is it because they are cheaper to produce than 50/51mm offset or they fit or look better on the golf?

probably because it's a slightly more aggressive stance & it allows them to give the appearance of a dished wheel.

17x7.5 ET45 is an OEM fitment on a lot of VW group vehicles AFAIK.
