That is a very good price indeed for F1A2s. Good find!

Per corner. $180 for all 4 is $45/wheel. What "trade" work do you get for $45 these days?

Wink Advice wanted: Tyre replacement options for Mk6 Golf

    G'day folks,

I was hoping for some advice about replacement tyres for my 2010 Mk6 TDI Golf.

At the moment, I have factory-fitted Continental Conti-EcoContact 3's (195/65 R 15 91T) and have done 62,000km in them but I know they won't last much longer as they have about 3mm of tread all around.

I'm not a racey driver, but I do like to zip around quickly from A to B, and I like the road gripping and cornerning of the Conti's. They are a little noisy, but I've just put up with that over the past 4 years.

I have been pretty happy with the Conti's, but wondering if I should stick with Conti's (other types?) or if there are any other brands/models that you have found great?

Cheers for your thoughts and comments!

I went with the Sportcontact 5's, absolutely love them, so sticky, I'm looking at them for my FG XR6T as well.
I see they don't do them in your size, but they do a few others, I am sticking with continentals for sure.

These guys are local and will ship to your tyre shop local as well
