Hi all,
Booked mine in today, at Barloworld Glen Waverly. Service dept knew all about it, and have ordered a whole heap in. No need to quote TPI or test drive. Lets hope after Friday its all fixed.

Can someone tell me what does this rattle sounds like?
Mine doesn't seem to sound like a rattle but a hissing noise, like when letting of steam in a pipe. I can only hear it towards the end of an acceleration when I'm about to change gear.

Sounds like a classic rattle ! On acceleration, starts at about 2 grand and stops about 2 8. Behind dash in the engine bay. More noticable with windows down.
XTC......maybe just boost blow off ?? When you take your foot off the gas ??

HAHAHA thats the the sound of the beautifull turbo , love it , when i cruise up to mt barker and then across to birdwood and give it a big shove ,that whistle is music , never had the rattle , APR said i might get it after the stage 1 was fitted but not as yet .Originally Posted by XTC838

Actually, that hiss is the sound of the diverter valve returning air to the inlet manifold to help the turbo stay spooled up.

Anyone think the rattle maybe related to the Soundaktor? I had what I would describe as a slight rattle upon acceleration and since disconnecting the Soundaktor I haven't heard it.
