    Nope I have a MY12, and the rattle is there. Will contact dealer once I am back on deck...toooo busy ATM.

    Yeah they are not fixing it in the factory :-/

    Oh well, at least we know what it is and it can be easily fixed. At least we don't need to have the turbo replaced or anything..........

    I understand this is factory researched and endorsed fix - my logical mind however does not understand how a clip that puts pressure on the actuator rod joint (to suppress the rattle) cannot in some way have an affect on the freedom of movement of that joint. If this is the case, would that not then affect the action of the wastegate to limit (even in a small way) the closing and (God forbid) opening of the wastegate?

    Short answer is no. It applies a force at the lateral motion of the joint. I might liken it to tightening loose wheel nuts - it doesn't stop the wheels from spinning freely.

    For God's sake can we please end this thread the info is there for everyone to access this should be enough!!
    We don't need to know or keep reading about people have booked in there car to have it done at a dealership who gives a S#@T!!!
    If there is any extra info regarding issue please post but otherwise this story is dead!!!
